Valentino Floral Appliqué Scarf Coat – Ivory Wool Coat

Embroidery treated like a garden climbing a wall. This Valentino coat is cut from ivory wool and worked with velvet floral appliqué — black and green stems that wind up the body and sleeves, budding into roses, tulips and small butterflies in fuchsia, cobalt, saffron and plum.

An attached scarf collar wraps the neck and falls in a long panel down the front, doubling as the closure line. Beneath it the coat fastens with a concealed placket.

The body is cut easy and straight to just below the knee, with wide patch pockets. Made as a daytime statement over almost anything.
